Ceárta offers bespoke research and analysis that meets the needs of our partners. Through field-based qualitative and ethnographic research, we inform program and policy designs and evaluations in conflict-affected and high-risk regions. Our team are experts in participatory methodologies, ensuring our research engages with marginalized and at-risk communities seriously, ethically and in a way that adheres to the principles of ‘do no harm.’
-
To support inclusive peacebuilding and reconciliation initiatives, we provide OSINT investigations, conflict mapping, stakeholder analysis and documentation focusing on political violence, disinformation, and hate speech. Our work aims to support advocacy and legal campaigns, as well as the integration of cultural and religious dimensions into peace processes.
By using a series of data gathering methods – such as geolocation, satellite imagery and online searching techniques – we are able to collect, verify and store large topic relevant datasets from which to conduct ongoing analysis.
-
Through analytical horizon scanning and scenario generation techniques including backcasting and critical path analysis we aim to identify potential social, economic, political and environmental hazards to programmes and identify key data pools through which to monitor these risks in real time. By creating timely alert systems, we aim to provide an effective warning system, to plan adequate mitigation and responses.
Early warning monitoring and modelling efforts offer a cost-effective preventative measure that increase programme and social resilience, as well as the safety of on-the-ground partners.
