Who we are

Ceárta was founded in 2025 on the belief that preventing conflict, extremism, and insecurity requires detailed analysis grounded in human rights, cultural understanding, and inclusive governance.

Our name means “rights” in Gaelic, reflecting our mission to deliver context-sensitive, ethically rigorous, and human rights-centered research and advisory services in counterterrorism, geopolitical risk, conflict, and violent extremism.

We believe accurate analysis is vital not only to achieving peace, but also to shaping effective policy that protects communities, upholds civil liberties, and strengthens democratic resilience.

To foster a policy landscape that embeds a commitment to inclusive and democratic change, we work with partners and clients to ensure all our activities support a transparent and achievable theory of change.
